LASH EXTENSIONS AFTER CARE

  • After your appointment, do not wet your eyelash extensions for 24 hours. This will give the glue an appropriate amount of time to cure. You should also avoid steam rooms/saunas, excessive sweating and swimming during this period

  • You must cleanse your lash extensions everyday to ensure no dead skin or oil buildup around the lash line causing reactions, infections or irritation.

  • Do not use cleansers, makeup removers or moisturizers that contain oil solvents, glycerin or glycol on your lashes. Oil will weaken the adhesive bond and cause lash extensions to fall off prematurely

  • Take special care around the eye area when cleansing your face. Avoid any type of oil based products around your eyes (ie. eye creams, moisturizers, masks, etc.) Again, the oils will break down the adhesive bond

  • Brush your lash extensions after cleansing through, this will keep them clean and untangled. always brush upwards, not in a back-and-forth motion. don’t brush lashes when they are soaking wet, gently pat them dry or let them air dry

  • Do not rub your eyes, instead you should get used to patting your eyes gently. This is better for your lashes and sensitive skin around your eyes

  • Face sleepers lose lashes faster. Avoid sleeping on your stomach or face to prolong lash extensions. You may also notice increased lash loss on your preferred sleeping side.

  • Do not add mascara, perm, curl or tint your eyelash extensions

  • Do not use cotton products around your eyes- like cotton balls or q-tips

  • Rise through lashes after swimming or sweating with water

Lash lift aftercare

There's no "downtime" for this service. A keratin treatment is used and it is recommended to be left on lashes for up to 4 hours. There is no negative for early removal, just positive for keeping it on. A dry towel can be used to remove keratin.

  • Avoid hot water/steam for 24 hours, that would be best. Hot water doesn't affect everyone's lashes in the same way, but it's better to be safe

semi-permanent mascara aftercare

  • After your appointment, do not wet your eyelash extensions for 24 hours. This will give the SPM an appropriate amount of time to cure. You should also avoid steam rooms/saunas, excessive sweating and swimming during this period

  • Do not use cleansers, makeup removers or moisturizers that contain oil solvents, glycerin or glycol on your lashes.

  • Take special care around the eye area when cleansing your face. Avoid any type of oil based products around your eyes (ie. eye creams, moisturizers, masks, etc.) Again, the oils will break down the SPM

  • Do not rub your eyes, instead you should get used to patting your eyes gently. This is better for your lashes and sensitive skin around your eyes

  • You may add a coat of mascara if you feel that your SPM is wearing off. However, when you add the mascara you must tap the lashes, instead of brushing. Because your lashes already have a coating on them, any additional mascara may cause tensions or pulling on your lashes.
